Privacy policy
1. Controller
TresEclipses is a personal and independent project. The contact for privacy-related questions is the email address shown at the end of this policy.
2. Data processed
If you create an account, the data needed to identify the session may be processed, such as user identifier, email address and access provider. Favourites, plan status, coupons, payments, communication preferences and dates of granting or withdrawing those preferences may also be processed. If you contact by email, the email address, message content and data you voluntarily include will be processed.
3. Purpose
Data is used to enable login, save favourites, locations and account preferences, manage Pro Planner access, answer enquiries and maintain service security. If the user selects the relevant option in their account, it may also be used to send occasional communications about TresEclipses, eclipse observation and Pro Planner.
4. Local preferences
The simulator may store information in the browser, such as language, last eclipse viewed, active location or interface preferences. Some data, such as synced favourites or plan status, may be associated with the account when the user logs in.
5. Technical logs
The web infrastructure, CDN or server may generate technical logs needed for security, diagnostics, abuse prevention and service operation.
6. Pro Planner payments
Pro Planner is purchased through a one-time payment processed by Paddle as an external payment provider. TresEclipses receives the information needed to activate Pro access, while full payment data is managed under Paddle's terms and privacy policy.
7. External services
The site may rely on infrastructure, authentication, payment, email, map, CDN, aggregated cookieless analytics, such as Vercel Web Analytics, or equivalent providers needed for operation and improvement. URL parameters are cleaned before navigation analytics is sent. Email providers will be used for service emails and, only with consent, occasional TresEclipses communications.
8. Retention
Emails and communications will be kept for the time needed to answer the enquiry or maintain the relationship arising from the communication, unless a legal obligation requires longer retention. Communication preferences and the minimum consent or withdrawal history may be kept while the account exists and for the time needed to prove compliance and respect opt-out.
9. Rights
You may request access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and portability where applicable by writing to the contact email. Consent for optional communications can be withdrawn from the user page and, when such communication is sent, through a simple unsubscribe mechanism.
